Growing up, Elias “Eli” Kvalheim always knew he wanted more for himself. Raised first in Sparta, Wisconsin, before moving to Indiana during middle school, he watched his three older siblings begin working and earning their own money. Seeing their independence sparked something in him early on, motivating him to build a successful future for himself.
Like many young adults, Eli’s original plans changed. As a kid, he dreamed of flying fighter jets for the Air Force, but after graduating high school, he enrolled in college and quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit. He left after one year and took a job at a factory, where he experienced a turning point.
The work gave him perspective, but more importantly, it made him realize he wanted something bigger. He wanted a career where his effort could directly influence his future. That realization eventually led him to HR Louisville Group.
Discovering Opportunity
Eli joined HR Louisville Group on December 27, 2025. What stood out immediately wasn’t just the opportunity itself, but our people.
He remembers leaving each interview feeling more excited than the last. The energy in our office, the atmosphere, and the potential he saw convinced him this was somewhere he could build a future.
Since then, his career has progressed quickly. Earning a leadership position became one of the proudest moments of his professional journey because it reinforced that hard work truly pays off.
“Making leader was a huge one for me. It really showed me that it’s possible to make it far.”
That promotion also marked the beginning of something new: building and developing his own team while continuing to learn from the people around him.
Growing as a Leader
Since joining HR Louisville Group, Eli says his biggest growth hasn’t only been professional—it’s been personal.

He describes himself as someone who has matured significantly, becoming more patient while learning how to communicate effectively with different personalities. His leadership style reflects the lessons he learned from his father, who has always encouraged him to succeed while giving him the space to make mistakes and learn from them.
That balance has shaped how Eli leads today. He believes leadership requires commitment, communication, and patience. Just as importantly, he believes strong company culture comes from understanding people while remaining authentic.
Consistency is another value he lives by. Showing up every day, trusting the process, arriving early, and staying committed to the routine have all contributed to his success. To Eli, integrity matters just as much because the way someone works when nobody is watching says a lot about their character.
Motivated by More Than Success
While Eli enjoys competition and constantly pushes himself to improve, his biggest motivation has always been his parents. Their support throughout his life continues to inspire him, and financial freedom remains one of the goals driving his work every day.
He’s also grateful for the mentors he’s found along the way. His father has had the greatest influence on his leadership style, while coworker Zachary Schweinsberg has reinforced the importance of working hard and treating people with genuine respect.
“If you put in the work, the work will pay off. Consistency is key.”
Looking ahead, Eli’s goals are clear. His next milestones are becoming an assistant manager and eventually an owner. Having already experienced rapid growth within HR Louisville Group, he believes those goals are achievable through continued discipline and persistence.
For anyone considering a career in sales or entrepreneurship, Eli encourages them to give themselves the opportunity to try. Coming into the business without any sales experience, he understands how intimidating it can seem. But he also knows firsthand what can happen when someone commits to learning, works hard every day, and stays open to growth.
His advice is simple: if you’re willing to work hard, stay consistent, and understand that growth comes with change, the opportunities are there. Sometimes all it takes is believing in yourself enough to take the first step.
